Fresno, CA : A 47-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a crash at Highway 41 On Friday,14th October, 2016
A 47-year-old motorcycle rider from Riverdale was killed Friday evening when he crashed into a Nissan SUV making a left-hand turn on a northern Kings County road, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened just before 9 p.m. on Excelsior Road east of 16th Avenue, about four miles east of Highway 41 and just south of the Kings River.
The Riverdale man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, was riding a 2000 Kawasaki westbound on Excelsior when Michael Lee Wolf, 60, of Kingsburg made a left turn out of a private drive onto
eastbound Excelsior. The motorcycle hit the front of Wolf’s 2003 Nissan Pathfinder and the rider was thrown to the roadway. He died at the scene. The rider was wearing a helmet, CHP said.
Wolf was not injured.
