Leesburg,FL: Tavares motorcyclist, 34, killed in Mount Dora collision on February, Friday 2nd 2018

A collision between a pickup truck and a motorcycle claimed the life of the biker Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Angel Alloway, 25, of Sorrento was driving a 2012 Dodge pickup north on Round Lake Road at 6:30 a.m., when she pulled out from a stop sign into the path of a 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle heading east on Wolf Branch Road. The motorcyclist was identified as Michael Richards, 34, of Tavares.

The accident is under investigation and charges are pending, the FHP said.
