The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office is responding to a deadly crash on the interstate on Thursday.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, just after 5:30 a.m., a two cars were heading west on I-26. When a sedan tried to change lanes, it ran into a pickup truck causing it to go off the road and overturn.
Troopers said the driver of the sedan was not injured, however, the driver of the truck passed away.
At this time, the driver of the truck has not yet been identified.
