Castaic, CA : One person died and two others injured in crash on Interstate 5 near Parker Road Friday September 25 2015.

One person died and two others were injured today following a crash on Interstate 5 near Parker Road in Castaic, according to officials.The crash, reported at 11:46 a.m., apparently involved one vehicle, described by a person at the scene as a silver sedan. One person was ejected from the vehicle, said Officer Patrick Kimball of the California Highway Patrol.
Three people were transported to the hospital in three separate ambulances. One person succumbed to injuries at 1:22 p.m. while at the hospital, Kimball said. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has been notified, he added.
The vehicle ran about 30 feet off the northbound freeway, flipped over and crashed through a chain link fence about a half-mile south of Parker Road, the person at the scene said.As of 1:40 p.m., the condition of the two other victims was unknown, according to officials with the Fire Department.
