Pembroke Pines ,FL : One killed and another Hospitalized after overturned car and strikes tree on Friday ,May 8th 2015

One person died and a second was transported to the hospital after a crash left a vehicle upside down on a median, surrounded by several fallen palm trees, Friday.

The vehicle may have been traveling northbound on Hiatus Road just before Washington Street, when it somehow crashed just before 5 p.m.

Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue and Police arrived on the scene to extricate the two people inside the vehicle. The adult male passenger was removed and airlifted to Memorial Regional Hospital. He is currently in stable condition and is expected to be OK.

The driver was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim's body was later removed from the overturned vehicle.
