Colorado Springs, CO : Van driver charged in fatal downtown Colorado Springs crash on Friday, October 17, 2014

A man involved in a crash that killed a motorcyclist in downtown Colorado Springs has been charged with careless driving resulting in death. The Gazette reports 42-year-old Steven Hinman, of Calhan, also was ticketed for making an improper left turn and driving without a valid license and insurance after the Monday night crash that killed 27-year-old Dustin Downs, of Colorado Springs.
