Authorities have identified a brother and sister killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash in southwestern Ohio.
A State Highway Patrol release says 46-year-old James Acree, of West Monroe, Louisiana, and 24-year-old Valerie Acree, of Fairborn, died as a result of the crash over the weekend in Yellow Springs, about 20 miles east of
Dayton.
The patrol reports that James Acree was the driving the pickup truck, with his sister as a passenger. Witnesses told authorities that the car went out of control after passing another vehicle and ran off the road, striking two traffic
signs and a culvert before landing on its top.
The patrol it continuing to investigate. But investigators say excessive speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash that occurred around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
