Baroda Township, MI : One person died in accident involving a snowmobile and a pickup truck in Baroda on Sunday evening, February 1, 2015

A snowmobile driver was killed after a collision with a pick-up truck Sunday evening in Baroda.

Baroda-Lake Township Police say the driver of an Arctic Cat snowmobile was pronounced dead at the scene after they were struck by a Chevy pick-up that was turning into a private drive off Cleveland Ave., north of Shawnee Rd. Police say the crash happened just after 6:00pm when the southbound truck struck the northbound snowmobile.

Michigan State Police are helping investigate the crash but heavy snowfall and blowing wind is affecting visibility. Police are withholding the names of the people involved.
