Warren,RI : Warren man dies after Route 103 crash on November, Tuesday 21th 2017

A 26-year-old Warren man died Tuesday night after the car he was driving hit a curb on Child Street and crashed into a tree.

Kyle Geisel was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he died, according to Warren police Lt. Roy Borges. Geisel was alone in the car.

The accident occurred just before 10:30 p.m. at the intersection with Long Lane, where Child Street, also known as Route 103, bends south. Geisel’s car was traveling in the westbound lane when it hit an island at the intersection. A witness called the police.

The accident is still under investigation, but speed appears to have been a factor, said Borges. Geisel was not thrown from the car.

Investigators believe Geisel was returning home from Swansea.
