Lubbock,TX : Man dies, 2 injured after vehicle-motorcycle accident in North Lubbock on July, Sunday 9th 2017

Three people were sent to the hospital, and one person is dead after a vehicle-motorcycle accident in North Lubbock Sunday evening.

At approximately 5:13 p.m., Lubbock police were called to the intersection of North Indiana Avenue and Baylor Street.

A motorcycle was headed northbound on North Indiana, and a van was headed southbound when the motorcycle collided with the van on the driver’s side, said LPD spokeswoman Tiffany Pelt.

Sgt. Justin Lewis was on scene and said the motorcyclist, who was not identified by Sunday evening, was headed to surgery just before 6 p.m.
