Chatsworth, CA : Motorcyclist dies in Chatsworth crash on Wednesday, 20th November, 2019

A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday when he failed to stop at a Chatsworth intersection and was struck by a truck, according to police.

The motorcycle rider, a man approximately 28 years old, was traveling westbound on Lassen Street about noon, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a news release. He failed to stop at a red light and was struck by a stake-bed truck traveling southbound on Winnetka Avenue.The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to police.

The truck driver remained at the scene, the LAPD said.
