Bellefontaine ,OH : 11-year-old Connor Strobridge killed and Driver injured after he lost control and drove into the southbound lane and struck by an oncoming vehicle on Monday , March 23rd 2015

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says an 11-year-old boy was killed in a west-central Ohio crash.

The crash occurred around 5 p.m. Monday on U.S. Route 68 near Bellefontaine in Logan County. The patrol says 11-year-old Connor Strobridge was transported from the crash to a hospital, where he died.

The boy was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Jacob Strobridge. The patrol says Jacob Strobridge was driving northbound when he lost control, drove into the southbound lane and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

Jacob Strobridge and the driver of the southbound vehicle were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The patrol says poor road conditions may have been a factor in the crash. Parts of Logan County received 3 to 4.5 inches of snow Monday.
