Nampa, ID : Idaho school bus driver to change plea following fatal crash with dump truck on October 26th 2014.
A former southwest Idaho school bus driver deemed to be at fault for a collision with a dump truck that killed an 11-year-old student is scheduled to appear in court next month for a change-of-plea hearing.
Fifty-six-year-old Debra Boatwright of Nampa will appear in court Nov. 24. She previously pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
Boatwright was in court Monday for a pre-trial conference where Magistrate Judge Jerold Lee said the prosecution and defense teams had reached an agreement.
The Idaho State Police says Boatwright was at fault for a Dec. 5 collision with a dump truck that killed sixth-grader Daniel Cook and inured four other children.
