CHATOM, AL : Washington County teenager dies in crash on Sunday, December 4th, 2016

Alabama State Troopers say a one vehicle crash Washington County has left a Chatom teenager dead.

Senior Trooper Reginal King tells al.com the 16-year-old was driving a car around 1:25 a.m. Sunday when the vehicle left the roadway, hit a culvert, and struck a tree.

King says the unidentified teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident happened on Washington County 20 approximately eight miles south of Chatom.
