GEORGETOWN, OH : Two killed in Brown County accident on Tuesday, 8th November 2016
A fatal accident closed Ohio 32 for several hours on Tuesday as police investigated the circumstances of the wreck between two trucks.
A truck was demolished in a collision with a tractor trailer, leaving the truck in pieces and the tractor trailer right side up in the grass off the side of the highway.
According to officials, two occupants of the smaller vehicle were killed in the accident.
Ohio State Highway Patrol officials said in mid afternoon, Ohio 32 between Mount Orab and Williamsburg, Ohio was closed and traffic diverted by way of Bodman, Tri-County and De La Palma roads.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol officials the accident happened shortly after noon, near Eastwood Road closing that intersection.
Ohio 32 eastbound was reduced to one lane to accommodate the investigation and detour of traffic.
Police have not released the identity of the victims.
OSHP continues to investigate the accident.
Ohio 32 reopened shortly after 6 p.m., ODOT officials said.
