Gilmanton ,NH : Motorcyclist killed after motorcycle crash near Gardner Cove Road on Saturday ,June 20th 2015

Police are investigating a motorcycle crash near Gardner Cove Road.

The crash occurred just before 5:30 p.m.

Officials said a motorcycle traveling north crossed the yellow line and hit an oncoming motorcycle. The driver who crossed the center lane died at the scene and a passenger was airlifted with life-threatening injuries. The other motorcycle driver was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

Route 107 in Gilmanton was closed at Loon Pond Road due to the crash, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation confirmed.

Route 107 remained closed for three hours and was cleared at 8:35 p.m.
