Reno,NV: One Women Injured in Car Crash On US-395 and Riverview Drive On Friday Night - 17th October,2014

Family and friends are raising money to help Jessica Olsen, who was seriously injured in an Oct. 17 head-on collision at Highway 395 and Riverview Drive. Olsen was southbound on Highway 395 at around 8:25 p.m. when a Ram 3500 pickup making a left turn pulled out in front of her, Her father, David Olsen, said he heard from one witness to the accident that when the vehicles collided, the rear of his daughter’s Lexus RX300 went into the air almost to the point where the windshields almost touched before slamming back down to the ground. Olsen received a severe concussion, multiple fractures to the left side of her face and her jaw, and broke both of the bones in her left arm, her father said. She was flown to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno. She was released Sunday afternoon so she could heal at home.
