A two-vehicle crash at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of the U.S. Highway 61 bypass and Carbide Lane, Keokuk, resulted in injuries to six of seven people who were involved.

According to an accident report from the Keokuk Police Department, Steven R. He struck a westbound 1994 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Dyas Roberts, 63, of LaGrange, Mo. Roberts’ pickup was pulling a trailer loaded with a vehicle, according to a news release Tuesday from KPD Assistant Chief Jay Whitaker.

The accident report identified Douglas’ passengers as Ben Johnson, James Alberts and Lucas Myers. Roberts had two passengers, Richard Lierly and Lonnie Benner.

One person was airlifted from the scene to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., while the other five who were injured were taken by Lee County ambulance to Keokuk Area Hospital.
