Louisville, KY : JCPS bus involved in injury crash in Newburg on Tuesday, Oct 13, 2015

A Jefferson County Public School bus was involved in an injury accident in Louisville’s Newburg neighborhood.

Seven students from Gilmore Elementary School were on board bus number 1271 when the bus and a passenger vehicle wrecked in the intersection of East Indiana Trail and Helmwood Drive at 4:55 p.m. Tuesday, according to JCPS spokeswoman Bonnie Hackbarth.

Two students complained of injuries and were checked out by Louisville Metro EMS. The driver of the passenger vehicle was not injured.
