OAKRIDGE, OR : 1 person confirmed dead in crash near Oakridge on July, Saturday 1st 2017

Hwy 58 has re-opened both lanes six miles west of Oakridge at milepost 29 following a motor vehicle crash Saturday morning that killed one person, according to Oakridge Fire & EMS.
Oregon Department of Transportation said traffic was moving through slowly and advised travelers to avoid the area and find alternate routes earlier.

The highway was closed in both directions earlier and was expected to be closed for several hours, an earlier ODOT release said.
There is no word yet on the identity of the deceased or the cause of the crash.
