Niwot, CO : Three-car crash sends two to the hospital on westbound Colo. 119 on Thursday, 12th March, 2020

Two people were taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon following a three-car crash on Colo. 119 and Monarch Road, near Niwot.

According to Colorado State Trooper Gary Cutler, the crash occurred around 3:47 p.m. on westbound Colo. 119. Two drivers were taken to Boulder Community Health’s Foothills Hospital.

A portion of Monarch Road is closed and Colo. 119 is down to one lane in one direction.

Just after 5 p.m., Cutler said emergency crews were nearly finished cleaning up the scene. He didn’t have an estimate for when Colo. 119 would be re-opened completely.
