Lasvegas, NV : Two men hit by car, 1 killed on Boulder Highway on Monday, January 23rd 2017

A 51-year-old man was hit by a car and killed Monday night while walking across a street in the east valley, according to Metro Police.

The accident happened about 7:30 p.m. at Boulder Highway and Sun Valley Drive, near Harmon Avenue, police said.

The victim and another man, 42, were crossing Boulder Highway in a marked crosswalk when they were hit by a northbound Lincoln sedan, police said.

Both pedestrians were taken in critical condition to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where the 51-year-old man succumbed to his injuries, police said.

The 27-year-old driver of the sedan remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment, according to police.
