Upland, CA : 1 dead in crash on 210 Freeway in Upland early Sunday morning, January 29, 2017

At least one person died Sunday in an early-morning crash on the 210 Freeway in Upland.

The crash was reported at 3:18 a.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway, west of the Mountain Avenue exit, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log. Initial reports indicated that three or four vehicles were involved, the log said.

Traffic was shut down on the 210 while patients were air-lifted to a hospital, the log said.
