CADIZ, KY : 4 children injured, driver charged after crash in Trigg County on Tuesday, 4h June 2024

A mother is facing charges after she crashed her SUV into another car, injuring her four children and two other people on Tuesday afternoon.

According to WKDZ, deputies with the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office were called to the intersection of South Road and Old Canton Pike for a crash involving three vehicles. Their investigation found that an SUV, driven by Sahara Duckett, turned onto Old Canton Pike and hit a car traveling north on South Road, according to WKDZ.

The collision pushed the car into another SUV at the intersection, the report states.

Duckett’s four children were injured in the crash, along with Craig and Laura Kelso, who were in the car that she hit on South Road, deputies told WKDZ.
