WASHINGTON MD : Car linked to robberies across region crashes in DC, leaving 2 dead after police chase on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024

(7News) — A white BMW suspected in multiple armed robberies across the region crashed in Southeast, D.C. after a police pursuit that started in Anne Arundel County, authorities said on Tuesday.

Two suspects in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene and a third person was arrested and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, U.S. Park Police Chief Jessica M. E. Taylor explained during a media briefing.

The crash ended on 41st Street and Southern Avenue, Southeast, near the border to Prince George's County, Maryland.
