A 50-year-old Batavia man who police say was walking in the roadway was struck and killed by a car Saturday night.

Everett E. Saxon was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. It happened at about 10:40 p.m. on State Route 28, near Morrow-Rossburg Road, in Warren County's Harlan Township, officials said.

The driver of the Subaru Impreza, 33-year-old Matthew Graus of Loveland, was treated for minor injuries at Bethesda North Hospital, according to a news release from Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Saxon, the release said, was not wearing any reflective clothing. The crash remains under investigation.
