Shawnee ,OK: One person taken to hospital after semitruck crashes into tractor on Tuesday,June 2nd 2015

A person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a semitruck crashed into a John Deere tractor Tuesday on the side of a highway in Shawnee, according to police.

The accident was reported at U.S. Route 177 and 45th Street, officials said. The tractor was mowing grass along the side of the road.

The accident caused traffic backups, but the scene has been cleared.
