Charlotte, NC : U-Haul driver after hit-and-run crash near Hosta Drive in Derita on Monday night, November 3, 2014

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department K-9s were called out Monday night to search for the driver of a U-Haul after police said the suspect crashed into a Jaguar and took off on foot. The search was off Grenelfe Village Road near Hosta Drive in Derita. Officials said they don't know why the driver ran from the scene.
