Irvington, NJ : 11 children and two adults injured in school bus collided with an SUV on Thursday,August 13th 2015
Authorities say more than a dozen people were hurt when a school bus collided with an SUV and slammed into a building in northern New Jersey.
The crash happened just after 8 a.m. Thursday in Irvington.
Police say the bus driver told investigators the brakes failed and she lost control of the bus. The bus hit a Toyota Rav 4 before striking the side of a liquor store.
There were 11 children and two adults on the bus at the time of the crash. All of them were taken to hospitals, but police say none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening. The SUV's driver was also treated for injuries that weren't life-threatening.
