Two killed in motorcycle crash with tractor trailer in White Plains
All lanes of Route 301 in White Plains have just reopened following an investigation into a violent crash that killed two people overnight.According to Maryland State Police, two people died when their motorcycle collided with a tractor trailer in the the northbound lanes of Route 301 (Crain Highway) just north of MD 227 (Marshall Corner Rd) around 2:15 Monday morning. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.An accident reconstruction team responded to the scene to investigate the incident, which blocked northbound Rt. 301 in the area of the crash for approximately 3 1/2 hours. The area was reopened to traffic around 5:45 a.m.
