ELKHART COUNTY, IN : Nappanee man dies in Elkhart County crash on Monday, 7th October 2024

A 21-year-old Nappanee man has died from his injuries in a crash on Monday afternoon in southwestern Elkhart County.

Police say Christopher Manhardt was heading south in the 68000 block of County Road 9 around noon when his Chevrolet Camaro went off the road and hit a garage, a cement barrier, and a barn before coming to a rest.

Manhardt was pronounced dead at the scene.
