Los Angeles County, CA : Motorcyclist injured in two-vehicle crash on Soledad Canyon Road on Sunday afternoon, July 17, 2016

A motorcyclist was injured and taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on Soledad Canyon Road near the Highway 14 off-ramp, according to emergency response officials.

The traffic collision happened shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

“One person was transported,” the spokesman said when asked if anyone was taken to the hospital.

Paramedics left the scene with the patient at 3:36 p.m., he said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved two vehicles.
