BUTTE COUNTY, CA : Driver rushed to hospital after crash on Highway 99 on Monday, 15th May 2023

A person sustained minor injuries after a crash occurred on Highway 99 near the Durham-Pentz Road off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol.

CHP said a green Subaru was traveling northbound on Highway 99 and drifted into the center divide, over-corrected to the right and hit a dirt embankment. The crash caused the vehicle to roll over.

The roadway was not blocked and both lanes are open.

The vehicle rolled over a barbed wire fence and landed upside down in a field off Highway 99, CHP said.
