MARION COUNTY, FL : 76-year-old driver dies in crash, other driver seriously injured in Marion County on Saturday, 23rd December 2023

A 76-year-old woman from The Villages died after colliding with a pickup truck Saturday morning in Marion County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP said the woman was driving east on Northwest 85th Loop and the stop sign intersection at US-441 at around 9:30 a.m. She then drove into the southbound lanes of US-441 to make a left turn, violating the right of way of a pickup truck.
