Jacksonville Beach, FL : Pedestrian killed on 4th Avenue North at 2nd Street North in Jacksonville Beach on Sunday morning, Aug 9, 2015

An unidentified pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Jacksonville Beach early Sunday morning, according to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

The crash was still under investigation as of 1:13 a.m., police reported.

A pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene where he or she was struck, on 4th Avenue North at 2nd Street North.

JBPD reported that no arrest had been made as of early Sunday morning, but expects to issue an update on their investigation sometime on Sunday.
