SHEBOYGAN, WI : Alcohol suspected after two people hurt in Sheboygan vehicle crash on Sunday, 28th July 2024
At approximately 4:42 a.m. on Sunday, the Sheboygan Police Department responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of Ontario Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle fleeing the scene at high speed.
The vehicle was later found in the 1600 block of North 7th Street, where it had collided with several parked cars.
The driver, a 31-year-old man from Plymouth, suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to a Milwaukee hospital in life-threatening condition. The passenger, a 42-year-old woman from Greenfield, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated at a local hospital.
The Sheboygan Police Department is actively investigating both the disturbance and the crash. Preliminary findings suggest alcohol may have played a role in the incident.
