Lake County, FL : 31- Year Old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into the side of a trailer in Lake County on Saturday, December 20th 2014

A 31-year-old man was killed Saturday morning after his motorcycle crashed into the side of a trailer in Lake County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Jason Davis, of Orlando, was traveling eastbound on State Road 44 around 8:15 a.m. Saturday.

Claude Ouellette, 82, of Eustis, was traveling westbound on State Road 44. Sandra Sneed, 68, was a passenger in Ouellette's Ford pickup truck.

Ouellette was hauling a trailer, a report states.

Ouellette attempted to make a left turn onto Seminole Springs Road and turned into the path of Davis, who was riding a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle.

The front of Davis' motorcycle struck the right side of Ouellette's trailer.

Davis died at the scene of the crash, troopers said. Ouellette and Sneed weren't injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation. Charges are pending.
