Two people were hospitalized briefly Thursday after a five-vehicle crash that shut down part of Interstate 25 near Monument Hill.
The collision occurred about 7:15 a.m. on northbound I-25 between the Monument and Palmer Divide Road exits, said Trooper Josh Lewis, a spokesman for Colorado State Patrol.
A 22-year-old man and 43-year-old woman were treated at Memorial Hospital North and then released, Lewis said.
I-25 northbound was closed in the area from about 7:20 to about 7:40 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
