Springfield Township, OH : Akron woman dies after motorcycle crash in Killian Road on Tuesday May 31, 2016

An Akron woman is dead after the motorcycle she was driving ran off the road on a curve and crashed into a tree, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at 5:30 p.m. May 27 on Killian Road near Plymouth Drive.
Michelle L. Candle, 39 of Akron was traveling east on Killian Road on a 2005 Harley Davidson. The crash occurred when she failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the right side of the roadway, striking a tree.
Smith was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. She was taken by Springfield Township EMS to Summa Hospital and died from her injuries.
Alcohol and/or drug impairment is not suspected.
