Las Vegas, NV : Motorcyclist injured in collision with car near Jones Boulevard on Saturday, June 4, 2016
A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries Friday night after he collided with a car on Tropicana Avenue near Jones Boulevard, according to Metro Police.
Also according to police:
The motorcyclist, a 54-year-old Las Vegas man, was westbound on Tropicana when the driver of a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, which was stopped at a left-turn lane, changed lanes into his path.
The motorcyclist lost control and was thrown from the bike, crashing onto the back of the car. The motorcycle, a 2008 Honda, hit the car's side.
The car's occupants, a 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old passenger, both from Collierville, Tenn., were not injured.
The incident is under investigation.
