Waterbury,CT : CT driver charged in deadly hit and run accident on Friday, 1st May, 2020

Police have made an arrest in a deadly hit and run accident in Waterbury Friday night.
The accident happened at 8:42 p.m. in the area of Baldwin Street and Scovill streets.
After the pedestrian was hit, a dark colored SUV turned around, drove north on Baldwin Street towards East Main Street and fled the area.
The adult female victim was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital and was pronounced deceased at 11:23 p.m. The deceased was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the manner/cause of death and to positively identify the victim, police said.
