A crash on Interstate 5 in northwestern Los Angeles County has injured seven people, including four children.
The California Highway Patrol says a Prius hit an SUV that was disabled in a freeway lane on Wednesday afternoon just south of Gorman.
The SUV overturned with the children and two women inside.
The Prius driver, Richard Wise, and a woman in the SUV, 53-year-old Lucilla Flores, were critically injured.
Another woman in the SUV, 29-year-old Artima Flores, had moderate injuries.
A 6-year-old child, two 8-year-olds and a 12-year-old received minor injuries.
It’s unclear how the children are related to the women.
