Mayfield,NY : Motorcyclist, passenger hurt in Mayfield collision on June, Friday 9th 2017

State Police say a 90-year-old driver collided with a motorcycle Friday, resulting in the rider and passenger being flown by helicopter to the hospital.
The crash happened at the intersection of Routes 30 and 349 when a Toyota Corolla driven by Paul Sawchuk, 90, of Schenectady, who was eastbound on Route 349, headed into the path of a Harley Davidson going south on Route 30, troopers said.
The motorcycle driver and passenger were both injured and flown by Life Flight to Albany Medical Center.Their names and conditions were not available.
Sawchuk was ticketed for a vehicle and traffic law violation, police said.
