White Township , PA : One woman seriously injured and closes Route 119 after Rollover Crash on Saturday ,May 16th 2015

A woman was injured Saturday afternoon in Indiana County when her vehicle rolled over onto its roof on Route 119 in White Township, about 2 1/2 miles south of the interchange with Route 422.

The woman was conscious when taken by a medical helicopter to an area hospital, said Indiana Fire Association second assistant fire Chief Mike Empfield. The identity of the victim was not available.

The crash occurred at 3:20 p.m. Saturday and Route 119 in both directions was closed for about a half-hour to accommodate the helicopter, which landed on the highway, Empfield said.

Citizens Ambulance assisted at the scene, according to Indiana County 911.

State police at Indiana are investigating the one-vehicle crash. Police on Sunday did not provide any details of the accident.
