Pingree, ND : Collision involving a pickup truck and a deer killed a woman and injured a man on Saturday September 27th 2014

A collision involving a pickup truck and a deer killed a woman and injured a man near Pingree in central North Dakota. The Stutsman County Sheriff's Office did not immediately identify the 18-year-old female driver and the 19-year-old male passenger. The woman swerved to avoid the deer on a gravel road on Saturday a few miles northwest of Pingree. The pickup entered the ditch and rolled, ejecting the woman. Authorities tell the station the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was transported to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
