Marshall Hall,MD : Bicyclist killed in midnight car crash near BWI on July, Tuesday 4th 2017

bicyclist was killed in a collision with a motor vehicle early Tuesday morning near BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport.

The bicyclist and car collided at approximately 12:30 a.m. on southbound Aviation Boulevard near Mathison Way, said Lt. Kevin Ayd, Maryland Transportation Authority Police spokesman.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the bicyclist has not yet been confirmed, police said.

The incident took place near the BWI Trail, a hiker-biker pathway that runs around much of the airport in Linthicum.

Additional details of the crash were not immediately available.
