Meridian ,ID :19- Years old Britanya Vasquez killed after fatal car crash Saturday morning , September 5th 2015

A 19-year-old Caldwell girl was pronounced dead in a fatal car crash Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the call around 2:24 a.m. at the 2900 block of west Franklin Road.

Meridian Police say there were three occupants were in the vehicle. Officers found the car resting on a power pole with severe damage to the driver's side.

The female driver, Britanya Vasquez of Caldwell, was pronounced dead at the scene. MPD says the unidentified male passenger was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The female passenger was released at the scene. Police say the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
