KINGSVILLE, OH : Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on May, Sunday, 21st 2017
Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 90 just east of Ohio Route 193 on Sunday afternoon, according to the Saybrook Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.
The accident took place at about 1:30 p.m. and involved two motorcyclists. The accident occurred close to the 236-mile marker on Interstate 90 in the westbound lane, said OHP Sgt. Chris Thane.
Two persons, both motorcyclists on separate motorcycles, were transported to University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to OHP.
Thane said the heavy rain in the area was most likely the main contributing factor in the accident, though at this time the cause is still under investigation. It does not appear alcohol was a contributing factor.
