Lycoming County, PA :Lycoming County Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash I-180 on Thursday, July 2nd 2015

State from Lycoming County Coroner Charles Kiessling on today's fatal car crash on Rt 180 near the Lycoming Mall.The Lycoming County Coroner's Office and Montoursville State Police are investigating a fatal crash on I-180 west of the Lycoming Mall at approximately 11:19 AM.The driver, Brittany L. Snauffer, 32 years of age from Dunn, North Carolina was traveling west on I-180 when she apparently lost control of the 1997 Ford Explorer and rolled into the median. She was unrestrained resulting in her being ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:06 PM. She died of multiple blunt force trauma. Her children ages 9 months and 7 years were flown to Geisinger Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.
