Lakeview, OH : Two people injured in Logan County crash on Wednesday, August 3, 2016

Two people were injured in an accident that occurred at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday in Logan County, one mile across the Auglaize County Line on U.S. Route 33.

According to a report from the Marysville post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Sarah Bogt, 37, of Wapakoneta, was driving a gray minivan east on U.S. 33 when it appears that she went left of center. The vehicle struck a white Mazda being driven by Kathy Boyd, 49, of Lakeview. Both vehicles spun in the road and ended up facing the opposite direction after the collision.

Boyd was flown by helicopter to Ohio State University Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Bogt was flown to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima for non-life-threatening injuries.

Neither vehicle had additional passengers. Drugs or alcohol were not suspected in the accident. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage.
